If possible, please advise of time of arrival, and whether you would like
a meal on arrival (GH1).

TRANSPORT FROM AIRPORT
Would you like to be met at the airport? Give the necessary flight details.
A special charge is made (time involved) and transport costs are at guest’s expense.
Our man will be outside with a BLUE sign showing “CDM”.
If you have problems finding him, telephone 060171 using the cell
phone of one of the many people offering them ($1 per min.)
It is not wise to allow yourself to be accompanied by a Liberian rogue.
 

 
IT IS EASY TO FIND US!
From the airport, take a red taxi. All have meters.
(Cost about 3000 FCFA = $5; or from Downtown - called the Plateau - 1400F.)
The meter should show rate 1 (tarif 1, with normally a green light) until midnight.
After midnight, the meter will show Tarif 2 (double rate) with a small red light.

If possible, it is best to get a taxi that has just let someone out rather than one
from the queue. The latter often do not want to use the meter. 

 
Ask for DEUX Plateaux-ANGRE or just ANGRE (pronouned “On grey”).
The taxi will end up following the expressway signs for 2 Plateaux.
Then (with about 2300F on the meter from airport) from the expressway it will turn onto an important divided suburban road going north called Boulevard Latrille.

After going a couple of kilometres on that boulevard look out for a large SHELL Service Station on your LEFT and then a second SHELL Station a bit further along on your RIGHT.
TURN RIGHT at the very NEXT intersection at the TRAFFIC LIGHTS (just after the big new Mosque).

Guest House No. 1 is at the THIRD intersection (a T-junction)
in the large 2-storey BALCONIED house with several parking
spaces and trees in front. Actually it is the FOURTH residence
on your left after the traffic lights.

Guest House No. 2 is just TWO streets further on from
in front of Guest House 1. It is in the street signposted L141.
Turn right and proceed along to our very big RESIDENCE GILMONT
on the right-hand side of the street near the end.
with a thatched roof on top. See the photo above. That’s it!

In simple French, and a map in French to help (but many taxi drivers do not know how to read):
Prenez la direction “2 Plateaux - Angré”.
Suivez les panneaux pour les 2 Plateaux et prenez ensuite le PREMIER pont
pour suivre le Boulevard LATRILLE.
Après la DEUXIEME station SHELL (qui se trouve sur votre droite),
tournez à DROITE aux feux.
Notre maison est la QUATRIEME maison sur votre gauche.
Elle a un grand balcon, et des arbres et des parkings devant.
Tarif correct de l’aéroport: 3000F CFA (= $US5).
Après minuit, il faut payer le double.

The streets now all have name signs. If it helps, GH1 is the large house
just at the intersection of streets L133 and L54, 2 Plateaux - Aghien.
Guest House #2 is close by in the street signposted L141.
However, as yet almost nobody knows these new street names.
